Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen → tap Edit in the top-left corner →
Add Widget → search for “Annidiem” and choose the small or medium size. For the Lock Screen,
touch and hold the Lock Screen → Customize → add a widget.
How do I turn on the Dynamic Island countdown?
Open the detail page of a date → turn on “Live countdown in Dynamic Island”. Go back to the
Home Screen or Lock Screen and the live countdown appears there.
Do lunar birthdays count down automatically every year?
Yes. When you create or edit a date, set the repeat option to “Every year · Lunar”. From then
on, the lunar date is converted to the Gregorian calendar for the countdown each year.
Can the app remind me to prepare a gift in advance?
Yes. Turn on the reminder on the detail page, then choose a 9:00 AM notification for the day
itself, 1 day, 3 days, or 7 days in advance.
How do I import birthdays from the system calendar?
On the Home Screen, tap the option next to “+” in the top-right corner and choose “Import
from Calendar”, then tick the events you want. Recurrence rules are mapped automatically.
Will I lose my data if I switch to a new phone?
Sign in to the same iCloud account and your data syncs automatically — it lives in your own
private iCloud database, which I cannot see. You can also export a JSON backup or an .ics
calendar file at any time from Settings → Data.
Does the app connect to the internet? Does it collect my data?
It collects no data and contains no ads or third-party analytics. Every feature runs on
your device and works offline. The only thing that uses the network is iCloud sync between
your own devices, which stores your data in your private iCloud database that I cannot see.

How does the Face ID lock work?
Settings → Security → Require Face ID/Passcode to Launch. Once it is on, the app asks you to
unlock after it has been in the background.
Does the AI greeting need an internet connection?
No. It is generated on-device by Apple Intelligence (requires iPhone 15 Pro or later with
Apple Intelligence enabled). On devices that do not support it, the app falls back to its
built-in messages.
